Tall Vessel by Eric Pardue

This tall, wood-fired vessel narrows modestly at the foot and the neck. The neck has a small lip. Fired on its side, the surface has extensive dripping from wood ash. The orange-peel texture at the shoulder is caused by the addition of salr during the firing.  Salt also adds to the flux of the wood ash and encourages it to run and drip, creating the distinct runny stripes. The colors are subdued browns and greens.
