Brown Speckled Sake Set

Description

This brown, speckled sake set consist of a lidded pouring vessel and two cups. Made of thrown stoneware, the caplike lid of the vessel has no knob and sits directly on the shoulders of the pot. The spout is small and conical, attached high on the shoulder. The two teabowls are rounded. All pieces are thin and have signatures carved on the bottom.
